Spear System is known for its On-Off tip heater, which melts the gate open shot to shot then freezing off the gate.Used in continuous strip & insert molding for absolute freeze-off. Versatile for family molds of like parts with interchangeable cavities. Our valves have an optional Ring Heater at the gate. It pulses heat into the gate in order to optimize flow. Molding glass filled resins keeps the glass fibers oriented while flowing through the gate.We guarantee a clearance on a matched pin & sleeve set greatly reducing leakage. The piston and body are precision aligned with the gate without involving the manifoldĀfs thermal expansion.Also in PET Pre-Forms and Caps& Closures and Medical.We design and build our own controllers suited for most hot runner systems. Valves & Nozzles are controlled using Soft-Pulse ensuring repeatable temperature control thus uninterrupted processing.Mitsui Plastics supplies injection molds using DSI Technology, Insert & Two-Shot Molds plus resins.
