Smithers provides accredited independent testing, research and consulting services for a broad range of polymeric materials and products.Materials testing capabilities include chemical analysis, physical/mechanical testing, component evaluations, non-destructive testing, metallurgical analysis, and complete product analysis. Testing is performed to governmental, industry, and customer standards, including ASTM, FED, MIL, SAE, FDA and automotive standards.Product evaluations include competitive and performance analyses, indoor tire and wheel testing, and winter environment testing. Consulting services emphasize problem solving, from failure and fatigue analyses to forensic investigations. We are also proud to announce the addition of Rapra Technology to the Smithers family. The full complement of Rapra's research, testing, consulting, training and information services are now more readily available to clients in North America.
