Conforma Clad manufactures replacement extruder barrels for a variety of co-rotating, twin-screw extruders. Flanged and non-flanged, block and round barrels are available for virtually all OEMs. In addition, our infiltration brazed tungsten carbide is directly applied to the bores and apexes resulting in barrels that are extremely abrasion and corrosion resistant. Our cladding extends extruder component life up to three times longer than extruders protected with competing materials. Conforma Clad also designs wear solutions for other extrusion applications including barrel liners, dies, conveyance components and auxiliary equipment. Our uniform, metallurgically-bonded cladding promises dependable wear rates and predictable life, which prevent costly equipment failures. Whatever your wear protection needs, Conforma Clad will work with you to develop a custom solution.
