Founded by Ed Steward and Bill Kramer, American Kuhne will celebrate its 10th year supplying extrusion machinery to the North American market. AK's team now consists of more than 500 years of combined experience in single screw extrusion. Every extruder includes a full 3 year warranty, comprehensive wet testing, and the most liberal spare parts policy in the industry. AK's products include AKcent, ULTRA, and AKcel extruders, high performance Steward barrier screws, and turn-key systems for tubing, pipe, profile, and sheet. AKclaim Ram Stuffer reclaim systems, and ULTRA R/S Rubber and Silcone extruders are also offered. AK also provides a wide range of touch-screen control systems including the low cost AKtive, AKcess LTD, and AKcess sytems. A wide range of after-market services are also available including replacement high performance Steward barrier screws and barrels for all brands of extruders, free use of AK's Extrusion Lab, free process consultation, and personnel training.
