PlastiScience is an engineering plastics testing and development laboratory, specializing in mechanical, thermal, electrical and process testing. We have a 40-mm twin-screw which can produce internal development samples, and also samples for customers, and molding machines to produce standard ASTM and ISO test specimens. We provide Underwriters Laboratories (UL) flammability (UL94, UL1694, UL746C) and long term heat aging (UL746B)witness testing to get your UL plastics approvals. We also consult in formulations to improve your UL flammability and long term heat aging (RTI) performance, and can represent you at UL to speed your approvals along.We have provided small, medium and large multinational plastics and compounding companies development services over the last several years, and can assist you to provide valuable samples and technical performance data to your customers. New for 2006! We are a GSA Contractor (GS-07F-9176S)-Laboratory Testing and Analysis Services.

Additional Company Information:

We will soon be approved by UL to be an engineering test laboratory for UL94 flame testing of all types. This means when you test with us, you will get UL94 flammability approvals for your plastics compounds right away! In addition, we are an approved lab for the new United State Postal Service T-3204B requirement for automatable polywrap plastic films.
