Premix Thermoplastics, Inc develops, markets and manufactures electrically conductive and static dissipative thermoplastic compounds. Our product range includes PRE-ELEC conductive compounds, PRE-ELEC ESD static dissipative compounds and PRESEAL highly conductive TPE's.PRE-ELEC ESD static dissipative compounds are based on inherently dissipative polymers, IDP's. These compounds are clean, non-sloughing and can be colored. The surface resistance is 10e8-10e11 Ohms.PRE-ELEC electrically conductive compounds can have different conductive fillers e.g. carbon black, carbon fiber, graphite, carbon nanotubes, stainless steel fiber etc. The volume resistivity of PRE-ELEC compounds is usually <10e4 Ohm•cm. We have also developed products with a volume resistivity of <0.01 Ohm•cm. PRESEAL® TPE compounds provide a unique solution for EMI-shielding applications. PRESEAL® TPE can be injection molded or extruded and is recyclable. The volume resistivity is 0.03-0.003 Ohm•cm.
