Alimex NA, LLC is a joint venture between alimex GmbH and Swiss Steel International NA, created to supply the North American general engineering and plastic mould market with superior semi-finished aluminum products. Established in 1970, Alimex is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of semi-finished aluminum products. Alimex produces, processes, and distributes its own brand of sawed mold plate known as “ACP 5080R”, as well as precision surface-machined plate “ACP 5080M” and “ACP 6000”. Aluminum Cast Plate “ACP 5080R” and “ACP 5080M” are made of the aluminum alloy AA 5083. Aluminum Cast Plate “ACP 6000” is a 7xxx series alloy. Continuous HD-cast along with extended thermal treatment creates the ultra fine grain structure unique to the Alimex ACP products. The ultra – fine structure is a stress free homogeneous metal ready to be used for precision machined moulds, prototype moulds, components, fixtures, and general parts.
