Trex Company, Inc. is one of the largest consumers of both polyethylene and wood materials in North America. With three manufacturing sites currently operating, Trex Company consumes in excess of 125,000 tons of each of these materials on an annual basis. Most of the polyethylene consumed is film grade, and consists of items such as plastic bags, stretch film, and agricultural film just to name a few examples. Not only are there environmental benefits to recycling these materials, but Trex Company also offers substantial financial incentives as well. You can have the savings realized from not placing these materials in the landfill, and there's a positive economical benefit for the effort to recycle.
