CAEFF is an Engineering Research Center in the film and fiber industry, partially sponsored by the National Science Foundation, and primarily releases software modeling and performs targeted research for polymer melt processing in the spinning, blown film and cast film areas. While Clemson University is the prime participant, MIT and Clark Atlanta as well as others collaborate and perform research where best qualified. FISIM is a fiber and film simulation model that is now released for spinning and blown film for immediate free evaluation. It can be downloaded from the www.caeff.com website.
