History

Our roots are humble. Fabri-Kal was founded in 1950 in a converted A&P store in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We started out with nine employees and manufactured primarily hardware packaging.

Today Fabri-Kal is the sixth largest thermoformer in North America with over 800 dedicated employees. Still headquartered in Kalamazoo, MI, Fabri-Kal has three manufacturing facilities throughout the US and is the largest thermoformer of polyolefins (PP and HDPE) for food packaging in North America. We pride ourselves on servicing all of our customers – large and small – in a reliable, fast and cost effective manner.

Fabri-Kal will continue to remain on the cutting edge of thermoforming technology and strive to deliver the most packaging value to our customers. Most importantly, we will continue to service our customers the way that we would want to be serviced.
