MINITHERM

miniTHERM water temperature control system The Mokon Minitherm is designed to surpass today’s safety standards, while providing accurate control of your process temperature. The Mokon Minitherm’s compact package fits into tight spaces and reduces floor space requirements. The system is available with pumping and heating capacities of 10 GPM and 2 or 4 kw, for operation up to 250°F. Each Mokon Minitherm is equipped with a microprocessor based PID control as standard to assure accurate control. This portable eighty-pound system maximizes space while providing long-lasting and reliable temperature control.

HYDROTHERM II

HYDROTHERM water temperature control systemThe Hydrotherm II is the first system of its kind with stainless steel as the main component for wetted surfaces, from the stainless steel pump to the stainless steel heater canister and pump suction manifold. Mokon’s Hydrotherm II is unmatched in an industry of carbon steel and cast iron systems.

The Hydrotherm II meets national electrical standards for machinery and comes standard with a UL (Underwriters Laboratory) labeled electrical sub-panel. With a footprint of approximately 2 square feet, the Hydrotherm II minimizes floor space requirements and offers a compact and portable design. All of these features, combined with our extended warranty, make the Hydrotherm II an easy choice for delivering precise temperature control.

DURATHERM HTP

DURATHERM HTP water temperature control systemDesigned for the most restrictive of processes or those requiring higher fluid temperature or pressure. The HTP system adds a cast iron pump to the original design, resulting in the highest temperature and pressure capabilities available.

DURATHERM NPS

DURATHERM NPS water temperature control systemEven a minor cooling circuit leak from stress cracks or bad O-rings can stop operations. But with the Mokon Duratherm NPS negative pressure temperature control system, you can finish the production run without the nuisance of a leak or the costly interruption of a repair. The Duratherm NPS gives you accurate temperature control while creating a negative pressure condition to pull the water through the mold - essentially generating a vacuum to stop the leak and preventing downtime from delaying your process.

Whether your process requires positive pressure (no leaks present) or negative pressure (to stop a leak), Duratherm NPS provides the most efficient means of temperature control. By incorporating a Venturi jet pump and a uniquely designed reservoir, you are provided with a self-supporting means of accurate temperature control up to 180º F in a positive or negative pressure condition.

HTF HF-2 Series

htf hf-2 seriesContinuous high flow/high temperature control up to 600°F for large flow and higher heating capacity applications. Systems are available in 40 or 60 gpm and single or dual zone configurations. The HF-2 Series features a newly designed 12 kw heater canister mounted in the traditional Mokon “horizontal forced fluid flow” design, proven in our systems for over 50 years. This heater design, along with an all-welded construction, reduces internal piping which limits potential leak points, and results in reduced cabinet size and floor space required. The system also features Mokon’s unique “continuous flow” cool oil reservoir design to ensure accurate and safe process temperature control and cooling.

CENTRAL CHILLERS

ICEMAN

Mokon's Iceman air-cooled and water-cooled central chillers provide a self-supporting plant-wide source of chilled water. They are offered in single and dual-circuit configurations to meet your processing requirements, and are available in 30 to 120 ton cooling capacities.

Utilizing either scroll or semi-hermetic discus compressors, Mokon central chillers are highly efficient, as well as extremely accurate and reliable. Available with microprocessor or Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controller for the highest available means of accurate temperature control with varying features based on your processing requirements.

OUTDOOR CHILLERS

Outdoor Air-Cooled Central Chillers from Mokon are designed for exterior installation, freeing up valuable indoor equipment space. They are available from 10 ton capacities and larger.

Mokon Outdoor Central Chillers are compact, completely factory wired, and have easy lifting provisions for quick and trouble-free installation. They are factory tested and arrive on site in complete working order, eliminating any potential start-up problems. When combined with a Mokon pump tank, they provide a highly engineered quality solution to your plant chilled water problem.

Each chiller features the most advanced microprocessor chiller control technology and components to provide you with the highest degree of accuracy and ease-of-use while in operation. Optional control interfaces are available.

Through simple design, these chillers are engineered to give you lower life cycle costs and increased reliability.

COOLING TOWERS

Mokon Cooling Towers are designed with the latest technology to reduce your operating costs while providing an energy-efficient and reliable source of cooling water for plant-wide applications. Two types of cooling towers are offered, constructed of either state-of-the-art HDPE plastic or rugged galvanized steel.

Our high-density polyethylene cooling towers include forced-draft (up to 100 tons) or induced-draft (100 tons and larger) designs. Both designs offer efficient means of cooling that require minimal space and reduced maintenance. The PVC water distribution system and fill material provide even distribution of water and high-efficiency cooling while extending the life of the components due to their noncorrosive nature.

Energy-efficient galvanized cooling towers from Mokon feature an induced-draft, cross-flow design (10 tons and larger), saving on fan and pump power. These towers feature a water distribution system, which utilizes gravity flow for energy savings and a unique nozzle design for precise distribution over the PVC film fill.

PUMP TANK

Mokon offers a variety of standard pump tank sizes and configurations to meet your cooling requirements. Capacities from 250 gallons and larger are available as standard models, in single, dual and three pump configurations. Available in stainless steel, plastic, fiberglass or epoxy-coated carbon steel tank construction. Mokon can also customize a pump tank to fit your unique process cooling water requirements.
