Pipe corrugator for corrugated tubing and pipe

We offer pipe corrugator machinery for the smallest tubing to very large sewer pipes and culverts. With corrugators spanning a production size range from 3mm - 1600mm (1/8" - 60") inside diameter pipes we can meet any customer demands. The Unicor technology has been used to manufacture every conceivable product a corrugator can produce, from automotive and medical tubes to large diameter sewer pipes. Material experience in all the common thermoplastics such as PE, PP PVC and Nylons as well as high temperature materials allow Unicor to quote on any project. Unicor are world leaders in pipe corrugator technology and warrant a chance on your project. They also do proprietary development projects.

Small diameter corrugator for 3mm - 100mm ID corrugated pipe

Used for technical pipe applications such as automotive tubing, convoluted tubes, appliance, house ware, electrical duct and many other tube applications, these corrugator models offer a tremendous amount of flexibility. Available in fixed or variable length, blow molding or vacuum forming, horizontal or vertical design, there are innumerable choices to meet your specific tubing extrusion application. Unicor have a wide range of experience with materials, and typically have a machine available for production trials.

Middle diameter corrugator 100mm - 500mm (4" - 20") ID corrugated pipe

Typically used to produce single wall corrugated pipe and double wall corrugated pipe this range of machinery includes the Unicor UC100 water cooled high speed vacuum corrugator along with the UC250 and UC500 models. Utilizing with water cooled mold blocks, these corrugators are ideal for running in highly variable temperature environments, and especially hot plants above 100 degree fahrenheit. Unicor's corrugator designs with the tight inlet radii allows for doublewall die designs with very short die sets, allowing for lower back pressure with the result of very high outputs. Typical materials run on these machines will be HDPE, PVC and PP.

Large diameter shuttle corrugator 200mm - 1600mm (10" - 60") ID corrugated pipe

The Unicor shuttle technology has been developed over the past decade evolving to a very simple and efficient drive system to cycle the water cooled mold blocks through the pipe forming middle channel. The first inventors of the shuttle concept Unicor have developed a number of machine models to cover the wide range of diameters that can be made on this machinery platform. The recent redesign of the shuttle corrugators to meet the needs of the North American market has resulted in a corrugator carrier design of 24", giving the customer the opportunity to run existing Cullom or Corma mold blocks on the corrugator. All Unicor shuttle corrugators are based on water cooling and vacuum forming for the mold blocks, however it is possible to use air cooled molds if the customer does not require the high output and diameter control that is inherent with water cooled molds. Corrugated Pipe Extrusion Downstream Equipment

Extrusion downstream equipment built to last over the long haul. This extrusion machinery has developed a reputation with our customers of meeting the needs of a pipe plant, which can be a harsh environment. Adescor was formed as an internal machinery manufacturing group in the past Big 'O' Inc pipe organization. Purchased by a group of long time pipe machinery owners the company has flourished in its first two years of operation. Offering standard designs of cutoffs, dump tables, liner trimmers, spin welder and many other specialty equipment required in corrugated pipe plants, Adescor are a company ready to service their customers.

Adescor have specialized in building equipment that helps eliminate dirt, dust and noise. All the cutoffs knife separation cutting, as do the inner liner bell trimmers. Recently Adescor have launched a new large diameter perforator line with the requirement to eliminate the drilling operation for standard pipe perforations. This is a new product launching in 2007.

The recent agreement between Adescor and Mecasoft allows for the building and support of the Mecasoft technology to be done by Adescor. this new partnership has already resulted in sales to customers who had been waiting for a made in North America automatic coiler solution.

Corrugated Pipe Coilers & Solid Wall PE coilers.

Representing Adescor and Mecasoft, with a proven automatic coiling solution for tubing and pipe. Adescor and Mecasoft have entered an agreement to manufacturer the Mecasoft pipe coilers in North America, with American available electro mechanical components. Coiler for Corrugated Pipe

Available in a single head and double head style the Mecasoft coilers eliminate the need for the operator to handle the pipe. Installing an automatic coiler typically allows for an increase in extrusion speed without the need for additional staff in the packaging area. With extrusion line speeds continually increasing we see our customers wanting automation in the coiler station. We can successfully coil 4" corrugated drainage pipe at 100'/minute making 100' coils, using three straps to band the coil with the mecasoft double head machine.

Coiler for solid PE pipes and PEX pipes

The Mecasoft automatic coilers for solid pipes are available in single or double head machines suitable for coiling pipes in the size range of 12mm - 76mm. The machines can use strap, stretch wrap or both for fastening the finished coil, and robotic coil removal has been supplied on a number of projects. Like all coiling processes a certain amount of customization is required on every project, to effectively meet the customers needs. We have the capability to accommodate this with the technology being built in North America by Adescor.

Unicor GmbH

Unicor Machinery & Technology Systems are leaders in water cooled corrugator technology. Offering corrugators for the extrusion of corrugated tubing as small as 3mm ID to include machinery making corrugated pipes as large as 1.5 m. Unicor have great expertise in many extrusion materials used in corrugated pipe, from the standard commodity materials of PP, PE and PVC to engineered materials such as Nylons and hi-temperature materials like PFA.

Unicor pipe corrugators are known for the horizontal orientation of the mold train, allowing tight inlet radii resulting in short die tooling, low back pressure and high outputs. The Unicor corrugator technology and die heads continue to evolve and offer customers robust high speed machinery for the production of corrugated pipe.

Adescor Inc are specialists in downstream equipment for corrugated pipe manufacturing. The group began in 1987 making production equipment for the Big 'O' pipe company and have slowly evolved to supply world class downstream equipment for corrugated pipe extrusion lines throughout the world.

Many products are available including a complete line of spin welders, cutoffs, takeoff tables, liner trimmers and fittings fabrication equipment. The group also offer corrugated pipe testing equipment.

CME Plastics, Inc.

Specializing in corrugated tube machinery for the production of convoluted and small diameter applications CME are experts in the production of molds and dies for small diamater applications.

CME offer used machinery, specializing in older Corma 200 and Corma 120 rebuilds. If you need help to diagnose a problem with a small diameter application CME are a good place to start.

Mecasoft

Specializing in automatic coilers, Mecasoft have become a highly respected company in the European market, for providing dependable high speed fully automatic pipe coilers. ProfilePipe Machinery recently introduced Mecasoft and Adescor, resulting in an agreement for Adescor to manufacture and service the Mecasoft Coilers for the North American market. The products include coilers for small diamater tubing, solid wall pipe coilers and coilers for corrugated pipes to 200mm (8") OD. The coilers are designed to use PP strapping, and have a custom designed strapping head to reduce the maintenance known to occur on strapping machines. Line speeds on 4" corrugated pipe are designed to handle 100' coils at 100'/min which is typical to most North American corrugated pipe producers.
