Purgex 456 Plus

Physical Description:

Temperature Range:
Operating temperature range of 280°F to 550°F (138°C to 288°C)

Applications:
PURGEX 456 Plus is used for color and/or material changes and the removal of residual contamination in thermoplastic injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding equipment.

PURGEX 456 Plus will efficiently purge the barrel, screw, and nozzle, as well as hot runners. This blend removes all types of colorants and commodity resins, including polypropylene, polyethylene, and their copolymers.

PURGEX 456 Plus is used to neutralize HCl gasses in PVC purging applications. PURGEX 456 Plus assures rapid turnaround on color and material changes with polyolefins and their copolymers, styrenics polymers, acetals, vinyls, TPO, TPU, and many more resins processed in this temperature range.

Purgex 457 Plus

Blend, polyethylene, 3% glass, and an FDA-approved active component
Non-toxic, non-abrasive, and safe
Ready to use and easy to remove

Temperature Range:
Operating temperature range of 300°F to 550°F (149°C to 288°C)

Applications:
PURGEX 457 Plus is used for color and/or material changes and the removal of residual contamination in thermoplastic injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding equipment.

PURGEX 457 Plus will efficiently purge the barrel, screw, and nozzle, as well as hot runner systems, removing all types of colorants and commodity resins, including polypropylene, polyethylene, and their copolymers, particularly if they contain glass or fillers.

PURGEX 457 Plus assures rapid turnaround on color and material changes with polyolefins and their copolymers, styrenics polymers, acetals, vinyls, TPO, TPU, and many other resins processed in this temperature range. PURGEX 457 Plus can also be used on PVC purging applications and will neutralize HCl gasses.

Purgex 3056 Plus

Temperature Range:
Operating temperature range of 300°F to 600°F (149°C to 316°C)

Applications:
PURGEX 3056 Plus is used to effectively remove all types of colorants and engineering resins, such as nylon and polycarbonate, from the barrel, screw nozzle, and hot runner systems.

PURGEX 3056 Plus includes a modified polyethylene for higher temperature resins.

PURGEX 3056 Plus assures rapid turnaround on color and material changes with PC/ABS, PBT, PPO, and many other resins processed in this temperature range. This blend operates up to 600°F (316°C) with a five minute soak, or higher temperatures without a soak.

Temperature Range:
Operating temperature range of 300°F to 600°F (149°C to 316°C)

Applications:
PURGEX 3057 Plus thoroughly removes all types of colorants and engineering resins, such as nylon and polycarbonate, from the barrel, screw, and nozzle of thermoplastic resin injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding equipment, as well as hot runner systems.

PURGEX 3057 Plus includes a modified polyethylene for higher temperature resins.

PURGEX 3057 Plus can be used for rapid turnaround on color and material changes with challenging resins such as LCP, PBT, and PPO, on alloys such as PC/ABS, and is recommended for glass- or mineral-filled applications. This blend operates up to 600°F (316°C) with a five minute soak, or higher temperatures without a soak.
