June 20, 2007 - Rick Perry has signed into law several bills of interest to the San Antonio region, although he canceled a scheduled Monday appearance in the Alamo City for a ceremonial signing of three bills. Perry on Saturday signed SB 3, an omnibus water bill that creates a new regulatory approach to provide water to meet the ecological needs of the state's rivers and bays. The bill also has provisions for water conservation and duplicates HB 3's fixes for the Edwards Aquifer Authority legislation. ...
