April 7, 2008 - Plastics, which employs about 200 people at plants in Lake City and Erie, has been awarded a $500,000 state grant to help expand what's been called one of the state's most aggressive plastic recycling programs.The money, which will be matched in part by a $150,000 contribution from Duska, will enable him to buy equipment that can recycle plastic in almost any form into plastic pellets. The money and the equipment will also enable the company to hire five to 10 new employees.
