June 29, 2007 - By Matthew Defosse According to press reports from Spain, Spanish PET supplier La Seda de Barcelona S.A. plans to acquire seven PET packaging facilities in Europe from Australia’s Amcor Ltd. Amcor is one of the world’s largest blowmolders of PET packaging; La Seda is the largest supplier of PET in Western Europe. Also for sale in Europe are the two PET preform molding and bottle blowmolding facilities of the world’s second largest PET supplier, M&G Polymers.
