June 19, 2007 - The measure would require Delaware residents to recycle, while haulers would be required to collect recyclables and keep them separate from trash. The bill would place a $3-per-ton assessment on all solid waste – excluding recyclables – collected or disposed of in Delaware. Once introduced, the legislation will be House Substitute 1 for House Bill 146.
