Lawmakers Say Mattel Broke Word on Lead

January 30, 2008 - Lawmakers are considering a law to limit lead in all material in toys. The lead hazard was present only in the red and green version of the blood-pressure cuffs. Lead in plastic emerged as a concern in recent years when it was found in lunchboxes and bibs.
