June 13, 2007 - In late morning trading, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 64.84, or 0.49 percent, to 13,359.85. The dollar rose against other major currencies, while gold prices increased. In afternoon trading, Britain's FTSE 100 rose 0.66 percent, Germany's DAX index gained 0.03 percent, and France's CAC-40 rose 0.51 percent.
